Record Breaking Weekend + Meet Sign Up Reminder Tonight!

    Hi Rattlesnake Family,

I just emailed a reminder to all families who have not yet declared for this weekend’s meet against Woodforest. Please make sure to complete your declaration before the deadline tonight at 8:30 PM.

I also forgot to mention in Monday’s email that we had several new team records broken last weekend!

At The Woodlands Waves meet, we had 3 new records set:

  • Sophia Levang (13–14 Girls) broke the 50 Butterfly record with a 29.46.
    • Brianne Creswell (13–14 Girls) then broke the same record again with an incredible 29.07. Huge congratulations to both of them!
    • Jeremy Jimenez (15–18 Boys) broke the 50 Backstroke record with a blazing 25.25.
  • Then on Sunday at the CAT 5 Invitational, Cruz Suarez (15–18 Boys) had an outstanding performance by breaking TWO records:

  • 50 Butterfly – 23.91
    • 100 IM – 55.90 (an amazing 1.5 seconds faster than the previous record!)
  • Great job, swimmers! It’s awesome to see everybody locking in, working hard, and setting new records for the team.

On a more serious note, I do need to remind everyone that nicotine products, including cigarettes, vapes, and any tobacco-related products, are not allowed near or inside the pool area. These are NWAL rules, and anyone violating them may be asked to leave and could lose the ability to participate in future meets. Please help us keep all tobacco and nicotine products completely away from the pool facilities.

Have an awesome week! We can’t wait to see what this weekend has in store for the team. Hopefully we can bring home another win!

    See you at practice,
    Matt
