    Howdy, Rattlesnake Families! 🐍

We’re getting excited for Time Trials next Sunday, May 4th, from 1–5 PM! This is a big day—not just for our swimmers, but for all of us to shake off those first-meet nerves and get a feel for the season. We’ll need all hands on deck to help the afternoon run smoothly!  Please be sure to read the email thoroughly—most of your questions are likely answered by reading! 😊

Here’s what you need to know for this week and weekend:

    • Swimmer Sign-Ups are due by Wednesday, 5/1 at 8 PM on the calendar page of our Swimtopia site.
    • Time Trials is when we get “seed times” for each swimmer. Please sign your kids up for all events they might swim this season. Not sure? Sign them up anyway—it helps us plan!
    • Parents of 8 & Under: Please check in with Coach Serena about what strokes (besides freestyle and backstroke) she recommends for your swimmer.
    • This is the only home meet where families can set up inside the gates! Feel free to bring chairs, snacks, and small drink coolers (no glass bottles, please).
    • If you're on a setup committee, you'll receive a wristband to enter early. Only wristband holders can enter before 1:00 PM; all others must wait until 1 PM.
    • Every family is expected to volunteer during Time Trials. Committee members will also be fulfilling their roles during the event.  Sign Up
    • We'll be taking the team photo at the start of Time Trials. Be sure to grab your team merchandise in front of the water park gate before entering, and Kid Herders—please be ready to help organize your groups for the picture!

Let’s kick off the season strong—see y’all on deck!

"Swimmers, do more kicks than a soccer player, more flips than a cheerleader, more sets than a volleyball player and more yards than a rugby player, but in less breaths than all of them combined!!" - I have no idea who said it but I like it!
