Good evening Rattlesnakes,

I cannot believe we are already halfway through the week and a few days away from our next swim meet! This is our last week of evening practices and then we start morning practices next Tuesday (NO practice on Memorial Day). I included the summer practice schedule at the end of this email for your reference.

Tomorrow night, Thursday 05/23 we have our makeup Spirit Night at Cane's from 3 PM- Close! Just make sure to mention the fundraiser at the register and Cane's will donate 15% of the net sales back to our Rattlesnakes Swim Team!

Our Swim Meet this Saturday, 05/25 is against the Imperial Oaks Swim Team:

PARKING:

Please be aware of the "No Parking" and "Reserved Parking" signs on Imperial Oaks Blvd and Northridge Forest Dr. To ensure ease of access of these roads, please park on ONLY one side of the road. Additionally, please be mindful of all fire hydrants and drives so not to block them.

STARTING SYSTEM(S):

We use an electronic starting system with an automatic Drops Timing System and Manual Stopwatches for dual confirmation and back up.

SET-UP INFORMATION:

This year, all teams (Home and Visitor) will set up outside the Pool Area in the parking. There will be two designated areas for set up. The designated area closest to the park will be reserved for the Imperial Oaks Seals, while the designated area closest to the main entrance will be designated for Visiting Teams. There will be NO TEAMS setting up inside the facility this year.

VISITING TEAM VOLUNTEER NEEDS FOR 2024:

Six (6) Timers and three (3) Scribes per shift
Two (2) Ready Bench Volunteers per shift
One (1) Ribbon Person for second shift.
First shift is through event 40. Second shift is from event 41 to event 80.

WARM-UPS & MEET START TIME(S):

Seals: 7:10am - 7:40am
Visitor: 7:40am - 8:10am
Meet Start: 8:30am

RESTROOMS:

Restrooms are located near the main entrance. Additional restrooms are located just past the concession area opposite the POA Pool.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Morning relay changes are due no later than 8:00am
Timer and Scribe meeting will be located next to the starter at 8:00am
Results will be posted near the concession stand
Ribbons will be distributed for places 1 - 6 and time improvement ribbons will be handed out to 8 & Under participants after each race.
