Sign up for Time Trials by this Wednesday 5/1 at 8 PM.

This Saturday 5/5 from 1-5 PM we will get to see our swimmers on the blocks and swimming fast and furious!! There are a couple of important things to know and be aware of for Saturday. Please arrive at 12:30 PM to collect your pre-ordered merchandise and team shirts. We need you to get your swimmer's t-shirts on as soon as possible as we have our team picture promptly at 1:00. The team t-shirt needs to be worn over your child's suit as we need all kids to have it on for the picture (we are politely asking you to refrain from putting any oversized bows in the girl's hair as we do not want to block the face of the swimmer behind them). The photographer will have a stack of order forms with him on Sunday but will collect them on Thursday 5/9 during individual pictures. We are asking our kid herders to help get their age group to the bleachers at the main pool for the team picture. 

Everyone, in exception to the meet set up committee or the photographer will need to enter the aquatic center on the left hand side through the education pool entrance; and only those with a neon yellow wristband will be allowed to enter the pool area prior to 1:00 (even the locker rooms/restrooms). Listen up to announcements being made before the meet starts as we will have a quick meeting for all jobs to discuss job responsibilities. Also, a quick reminder that you will always be responsible for collecting your child after their heat as the kid herder will not be responsible to bring your child back to you. A little helpful tip to help your child and yourself keep up with their heat and event numbers is to bring a sharpie with you so you can write them on their arm for easy visibility during the meet.

We will not have relays at Time Trials as we are only collecting individual times, but we will have flyover starts for our 11 & up swimmers. A flyover start is when a heat has ended and the next heat starts before the swimmers in the last heat exit the water. We will use flyover starts at every home meet to help keep our meet on track as we are on a strict time schedule to finish and clear out of the aquatic center so the City of Conroe can open to the public. Please bring your own chairs and cooler for snacks and drinks but there will not be any pop up tents this Saturday. We will have concessions available such as what you would find at a high school sporting event such as candy, chips and drinks.

We have another Spirit Night this Thursday 5/2 at Raising Cane's in Conroe from 3PM-8PM. Please let them know that your are there with the Conroe Rattlesnakes Swim Team and they will give a portion of each purchase back to our team. 

We are all excited to have Coach Fossmo and all of the coaches get our swimmers pumped up and ready to swim fast & furious!! Praying for great weather and a fun Saturday!!
