Rattlesnakes Swim Weekly 5/1-5/7
Howdy Rattlesnake Families!!
We are gearing up for Time Trials this Sunday, 5/7 from 1-5 PM!! This is a big day for not only our swimmers, but for all of the families to get our first practice swim meet jitters out!!
We need all hands on deck to help make the afternoon run as smooth as possible.
Important things to know for this week and weekend are:
-You must sign your swimmers up on Swimtopia by this Wednesday, 5/3 at 8 PM
-8 & under parents please talk with Coach Serena about which strokes other than freestyle and backstroke that she may recommend for your child.
-This is the ONLY home meet that you will be able to set up inside the gates, you can bring chairs, snacks and small coolers for drinks (no glass bottles)
-If you are on a setup committee, you will be given a wristband to enter the gates before 1:00- anyone without a wristband will not be able to enter until 1 PM
-We will be taking the team photo first (everyone will be in the picture, even if you do not plan on purchasing pictures)
-Every family is expected to volunteer at Time Trials (committees will also be fulfilling their positions at Time Trials)
-We will have hamburger-hot dog plates to purchase for $5
-If you are not able to attend, you need to submit the attached google doc form by Friday 5/5 -REMINDER: you are not guaranteed times for the first swim meet if you are not able to attend Time Trials- we will start collecting times on Monday 5/8 for those who submit the google doc)
Spirit Night:
-Please head to Panda Express this Tuesday 5/2 all day from 10:30 AM-9:30 PM, you can order online or on their app and enter code 353831 or bring in the paper flyer or show it on your smartphone so we can get 20% donated back to our team!! The flyer is attached.
Individual Pictures will be taken next Tuesday 5/9 from 4-6 PM.
Looking Ahead: Our first swim meet will be held on Saturday 5/13 at Woodlands Hurricanes
We are all excited to see our swimmers on the blocks this Sunday; keep swimming fast & furious!!
